Alice CandorCatching a frog is your effort to grab hold of a sudden turn in your life that will not sit still. You are reaching for a shift that refuses to be still, attempting to pin down a movement that escapes your grasp.
A restless impulse is what you are trying to seize when you are catching a frog. You are working to stabilize a fluctuation in your life, turning a fleeting possibility into something you can actually hold and examine. This process of capture is a way of navigating the currents of change. The instability of the moment is the weight you carry. You find your footing by grasping the very thing that seeks to move.
Catching frogs implies that the shifts occurring in your life are not singular events but a series of recurring movements. You are learning to manage multiple transitions at once, which increases the complexity of the change you are trying to direct.
Trying to catch a frog or chasing a frog reveals a gap between your intention and your current reach. The dream shows that the movement of change is currently outpacing your ability to direct it, leaving you in a state of pursuit rather than possession.
Holding a frog changes the nature of the dream by suggesting that the transition has already been mastered. You have moved past the struggle of the chase and have reached a state where you can sit with the new reality you have captured.

Alice CandorInterpreter interprets your dreams
The figure that keeps coming back in a dream has usually been waiting a long time to be looked at. A dream tends to bring forward the side of a life that daylight leaves out. What feels alien in it might be the part of you most in need of a hearing. Nothing has to be settled tonight. Which detail stayed with you after waking?
