Alice CandorA basement is the space where you have tucked away the parts of your life that no longer walk beside you in the light. This dream suggests a movement toward the foundational layers of your character, where the things you have long since set aside continue to reside. These depths are more than just a place for old things, for they are the actual floor of your current stability.
The architecture of your inner world is being called into view. While these subterranean spaces can hold what you have lost or forgotten, they also contain the structural strength of your identity. You are walking through the unlit rooms of your history, where the weight of what is kept hidden begins to shape the way you stand in the light.
The shadows in these lower levels can sometimes feel heavy, as they hold the things you are not yet ready to face. This dream offers you the chance to look at the roots of your behavior, even if the sight of them feels unsettling. You are discovering that the strength of your foundation rests on how you handle these deep, still spaces.
The act of finding a basement finding a basement marks the moment you begin to acknowledge the existence of these inner foundations. This discovery suggests a shift in your consciousness, as you move from ignoring your roots toward a genuine awareness of what supports you.
A basement flooding a basement flooding indicates that certain repressed emotions are rising to threaten your stability. This movement of water suggests that what you have kept below the surface is now exerting a pressure that your current defenses cannot easily contain.
The sensation of hiding in a basement hiding in a basement points to a desire to retreat from the demands of your external life into the safety of the known and the obscured. You are seeking a way to remain unobserved, using your own history as a shield against the scrutiny of the world.
Being trapped in a basement being trapped in a basement changes the nature of your retreat into a feeling of being unable to act. This dream suggests that the very structures you used for protection have become the limits of your freedom, leaving you stuck within your own old patterns.
By cleaning a basement cleaning a basement, you are actively tending to the neglected parts of your psyche. You clear away the dust of the past to make the ground beneath you firm again.

The difference is that the kitchen is in the form of stones, seems unfinished. There is also a storeroom outside covered with moss. Then suddenly there was wind and rain (I started to panic because how can there be air, rain, and sky underground? I tried to climb back to the top but there was no longer a hole.
