Alice CandorThe possibility of an intimate renewal rests in how you allow yourself to be held by a bathtub. You may be finding a way to let your private life settle into a container of stillness.
If the water fails to remain within its bounds, the dream points to a moment where your capacity for comfort is being tested by an excess you cannot contain. You might find that the very space meant for your relief is becoming a site of overwhelm, where the quietude you seek is replaced by a surge that threatens to bypass your control.
The weight of an unmanaged life can pull you under, making the pursuit of peace feel like a struggle for breath. You are capable of finding your way back to the surface through the same rhythm that allows you to rest in the water.
A clogged bathtub or a dirty bathtub in a dream suggests that the process of your own renewal is being hindered by accumulated debris. These states signify that the ease you seek is being blocked by the very things you have failed to clear away.
A tub overflowing in a dream indicates that the boundaries of your replenishment are being exceeded by a sudden surge. This movement suggests that what should be a contained source of ease is instead spilling over into the rest of your life.
Being in a bathtub places you directly within the experience of your own potential for restoration. This dream suggests that you are currently positioned to accept the quietude and the inward movement that the water offers.

Alice CandorInterpreter interprets your dreams
The figure that keeps coming back in a dream has usually been waiting a long time to be looked at. A dream tends to bring forward the side of a life that daylight leaves out. What feels alien in it might be the part of you most in need of a hearing. Nothing has to be settled tonight. Which detail stayed with you after waking?
