Alice CandorA carpenter in a dream might suggest that you are looking for a way to assemble the fragmented parts of your own character into a structure that can hold weight. This movement toward order shows how you try to link what you intend to do with what you actually accomplish, so that the life you create is a solid thing rather than a thin covering.
The integrity of your inner life depends on the quality of the tools and the attention you bring to the task of your own development. If you find yourself avoiding the necessary labor of self-correction, the dream may point to a period where the foundations you are laying are left unexamined. You are currently navigating the tension between the desire for a finished result and the slow, often repetitive work required to make that result endure. The dream of a carpenter is about learning to follow the natural lines of your own nature to make sure your progress holds firm.
Alice CandorInterpreter interprets your dreams
The figure that keeps coming back in a dream has usually been waiting a long time to be looked at. A dream tends to bring forward the side of a life that daylight leaves out. What feels alien in it might be the part of you most in need of a hearing. Nothing has to be settled tonight. Which detail stayed with you after waking?
