Alice CandorA dead elephant suggests that an era of your internal authority has reached its conclusion. You might be facing a way you have governed your own history that has lost its power to rule. The stillness of this figure marks the end of a long-standing mental structure, leaving a vast space where a heavy certainty used to reside.
This silence in the dream might be the result of a movement toward shedding a burden that has become too cumbersome to carry. You may find that the departure of this massive presence allows for a different kind of movement in your life, one that is not dictated by the sheer gravity of what you once knew to be true. Losing this immense weight unbinds you from the things that once anchored your identity. The dream leaves you in the wake of a great collapse.
An elephant dying reveals a struggle to maintain a strength that is currently slipping through your grasp. This resistance to what must pass shows how you might be anchored to a fading power, as you try to hold onto a version of yourself that is already becoming a memory. The dream holds the friction of a life that refuses to let go of its own heavy history.

Alice CandorInterpreter interprets your dreams
The figure that keeps coming back in a dream has usually been waiting a long time to be looked at. A dream tends to bring forward the side of a life that daylight leaves out. What feels alien in it might be the part of you most in need of a hearing. Nothing has to be settled tonight. Which detail stayed with you after waking?
