A dried ocean marks a place where the vastness of your potential has shrunk into a crust of salt. The great pulse of your living world has retreated, leaving a floor of silt that no longer moves with the pull of the moon. You may be standing in the wake of an era that has lost its tide, facing a space where the movement of life has slowed to a halt.
The stillness of this desert of salt can feel like a loss of direction, as if the currents that used to guide your purpose have vanished into the heat. There is a risk that you might mistake this period of emptiness for a permanent end to your capacity for movement. However, the clarity of the ground that remains offers a chance to see what was hidden beneath the waves. This parched expanse is an invitation to examine the foundations of your life now that the overwhelming swell of the deep has pulled away. You are learning to walk upon the very floor of your own destiny.
For its more general meaning: Dream about the ocean
I’m in ocean shore seeing it getting empty then waters fill the ocean
Dear Reader,
Your dream draws attention to perception, appreciation and disconnect. This dream hints others may perceive you as fragile or vulnerable. Your opinions and ideas are not appreciated. Your actions are disconnected from your emotions and conscience.
Hi! I dreamed about an empty sea this morning. It looked like I was in the middle of the ocean but no water.. just the sand. It was empty. In my dream I felt I was scared. Scared that the water might come back anytime soon. When I read this article, I finally understand what it really means. I felt overwhelmed of how everything was so accurate in my personal life! Unable to express my feelings, lack of self, lack of self love and most of all my insecurities. I have never hated myself like this in my entire life before. I don’t even know how to get over it. I never i would turn out to this kind of person, I am easily irritates and I feel like exploding when misunderstood. I am uncomfortable and unhappy with my marriage. I feel hopeless. I’m scared that I may not have a happy life in marriage. I only stayed because of my son.
Dear Edleen,
“Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all of the darkness.” said Desmond Tutu, who is a South African Anglican cleric and theologian, known for his work as an anti-apartheid and human rights activist.
There is ALWAYS light at the end of the tunnel. Believe me. Think these times as a long and bad dream. After some time you will wake up to a new bright day.
