Alice CandorA flute may be the sound of your own breath attempting to find a single, unbreaking rhythm. This dream suggests that there is a movement toward a more integrated way of being, where the disparate notes of your experience might finally find a shared rhythm. You may be sensing a capacity for grace that allows different parts of your life to breathe together in a single, sustained breath.
An agreement might be failing if the sound you hear is interrupted by a break in the instrument. You might find that certain agreements or internal alignments are not as solid as they appear. If you can listen to the gaps in the music, you might discover where the breath is being lost. This music is a way for you to hear the underlying pulse of your own coherence.
Playing a flute in your dream transforms a static symbol into an active pursuit of that inner concord. This action suggests that you are the one currently shaping the way your various impulses and thoughts harmonize. You are the source of the music, giving shape to the air through your own intent.

Alice CandorInterpreter interprets your dreams
The figure that keeps coming back in a dream has usually been waiting a long time to be looked at. A dream tends to bring forward the side of a life that daylight leaves out. What feels alien in it might be the part of you most in need of a hearing. Nothing has to be settled tonight. Which detail stayed with you after waking?
