Alice CandorA former president in a dream may signal a movement toward a power that has already been exercised and then set aside. You are likely encountering the traces of a force that used to dictate your direction, a time when certain patterns of control or specific ways of handling your world held total command.
The weight of this dream lies in the realization that what once ruled you has passed its zenith. You might be meeting the ghost of a former way of being, sensing the pull of a system that has ceased to function but still sits heavily within your mind. You are standing before the remains of an old architecture of the self. You possess the capacity to look at these departed authorities without being mastered by them, as you find that the old ways of governing your impulses are becoming mere artifacts of a former self.
