Alice CandorA golden retriever in a dream may point to a part of your own nature that seeks to bridge the gap between your private thoughts and the world around you through a spirit of uncritical warmth. This movement toward others suggests a desire for a kind of loyalty that does not require the complex negotiations of the intellect, where you might be looking for a way to offer or receive a devotion that is simple and constant.
You may be finding that your current way of relating to your surroundings lacks this specific, uncomplicated radiance. This dream might be surfacing because the caution you carry in your waking life has made it hard to feel the easy, open kindness that such a creature embodies. Your ability to connect with a bright and simple clarity is already sitting within you. You are learning to let this warmth move through you like the sunlit coat of a golden retriever.

Alice CandorInterpreter interprets your dreams
The figure that keeps coming back in a dream has usually been waiting a long time to be looked at. A dream tends to bring forward the side of a life that daylight leaves out. What feels alien in it might be the part of you most in need of a hearing. Nothing has to be settled tonight. Which detail stayed with you after waking?
