Alice CandorA job interview is a moment where you face the question of your own value when the world asks for a demonstration. You may find yourself navigating the tension between what you know to be true of your capabilities and the external standard that seeks to categorize them. This dream often surfaces when the internal scale is being recalibrated, forcing a confrontation with the parts of yourself that you feel must be justified to others.
The process of being examined can feel like a narrow bridge where every step is watched for a tremor. You might feel a sudden, sharp awareness of how you appear, as if the ease of your usual self has vanished to make room for a mask that satisfies an onlooker. This scrutiny can reveal a fear that your worth is a brittle thing, easily broken by the gaze of another. If you feel you are being judged, it may simply be that you are finally listening to the judge you have carried within you for a long time. You are learning to stand in the light of your own assessment.
When you find yourself failing a job interview or experiencing a bad job interview, the dream intensifies the sense of inadequacy that the trial of worth evokes. These dreams suggest that the pressure to meet an external standard is currently overwhelming your ability to trust your own footing, making the mirror of the interview feel like a site of defeat rather than a site of discovery.
The absence of the encounter in missing a job interview shifts the focus from the fear of judgment to the fear of the opportunity itself. By not showing up, you may be expressing a subconscious refusal to enter the arena where your worth is put on trial.

Alice CandorInterpreter interprets your dreams
The figure that keeps coming back in a dream has usually been waiting a long time to be looked at. A dream tends to bring forward the side of a life that daylight leaves out. What feels alien in it might be the part of you most in need of a hearing. Nothing has to be settled tonight. Which detail stayed with you after waking?
