Alice CandorA lamb is a quietude in your inner life that remains untouched by the friction of the world. This dream may point to a part of your character that seeks a state of unblemished peace, a stillness that provides a sanctuary against the noise of your waking responsibilities.
You might find that this dream is a mirror for a certain softness you are holding in reserve, a capacity for gentleness that has not yet been called into the fray of your active life. This quietude is a reservoir of ease, yet it carries the risk of becoming a fragility that cannot withstand a sudden storm. Your internal world holds this stillness as a potential for grace, a way of being that remains unburdened by the complexities of your history. The dream is a place of soft light where this quietude resides.
When you are eating lamb, the dream moves from observation to assimilation, suggesting that you are currently incorporating this sense of quietude into your very being. This action indicates that the peace you once viewed from a distance is becoming a source of internal nourishment.
The presence of a white lamb or a baby lamb suggests that this sense of innocence is in its most nascent and pure form. Such a dream indicates that the capacity for a blameless peace is currently a delicate, emerging quality within you.
To be saving a lamb shifts the movement toward a protective instinct, where you are actively guarding a part of your own vulnerability. This dream shows that you are learning to sustain the very gentleness that the world often asks you to abandon.
A dead lamb or killing a lamb shows that a part of your quietude has been lost to the hardness of your circumstances. This dream suggests that a certain part of your gentleness has been extinguished or sacrificed to the demands of survival.
A black lamb turns the focus toward a shadow within that quietude, suggesting that your peace might be colored by an unknown or unacknowledged depth. This dream implies that even your most tranquil states carry a weight of mystery that you have not yet integrated.
For its more general meaning: Dream about sheep
Some animals like cats and dogs were let out and were running free but two who were friends, came running to me. They were small lambs. They were very furry and one was grey the other brown. The grey one was in love with me and wanted me to hold it and cuddle it which I did.
