Dream about a pelican

The way you feed the lives of others reveals how you tend to the life within yourself. A pelican is the drive to pour your own substance into another until you are emptied of the very thing you seek to save. This dream suggests that your care is a weight that can either anchor a world or leave it dry.

The way you manage this abundance determines whether you are building a sanctuary or an emptiness. You might find that the same intensity you use to support those around you is the very thing that leaves you feeling hollowed out. There is a risk that the act of providing becomes a way of avoiding the sight of your own needs. This movement of self-giving is a heavy strength, yet it carries the shadow of a life spent in a constant state of depletion. Your capacity to sustain others shows how much you have to give, and you find that this depth is already present within you.

The way a pelican attack unfolds suggests that your protective drive can transform into a sharp, reactive force. You may be feeling a sudden urge to push back when the weight of your responsibilities threatens to overwhelm you. This dream shows that your protective nature can turn into a strike when you feel the boundaries of your own endurance are being violated.
