Alice CandorThe weight of what you have kept from yourself is the anchor of this dream about a septic tank. This dream points to those parts of your inner life that you have sequestered to maintain a surface of order, allowing the residue of old experiences to settle in the dark where they can no longer be seen.
You may find that this containment is becoming an unsustainable way of being. The pressure of these unacknowledged contents threatens to breach the boundaries you have built to keep your world appearing clean. This dream shows how the things you push aside continue to pile up, slowly crowding out the room you have for your own growth.
The capacity for holding is currently being tested by the very things you chose to hide. Your ability to manage the shadow of your own history is finding its limit.
The sight of a full septic tank indicates that the threshold of your containment has been reached. Because the vessel can no longer hold what has been cast into it, the dream suggests that the tension between your private reality and your public image is nearing a point of unavoidable release.
Alice CandorInterpreter interprets your dreams
The figure that keeps coming back in a dream has usually been waiting a long time to be looked at. A dream tends to bring forward the side of a life that daylight leaves out. What feels alien in it might be the part of you most in need of a hearing. Nothing has to be settled tonight. Which detail stayed with you after waking?
