Alice CandorA ship is the vast movement of a life as it navigates the currents of what is being undertaken. This dream may point to the way you carry your ambitions through the deep waters of your own transitions.
The weight of such a journey can feel like a tide that pulls you toward a destination you have not yet mapped. You might find that the vessel of your intent is subject to the forces of a world that moves independently of your will. If the course falters, the dream shows a moment where the structures you rely upon begin to dissolve. You are currently standing at the edge of a great crossing where the stability of your direction is being tested. The movement of this dream offers you the chance to recognize the currents you are riding.
You find yourself being on a ship when the dream suggests that you are actively participating in the process of change. This involvement means the transition is not something happening to you, but something you are inhabiting.
The presence of a sinking ship or a shipwreck indicates that a significant venture in your life may be facing a collapse. Such a dream shows that the foundations of a current undertaking are failing, leaving you to face the loss of what you have built.
When you encounter a sunken ship, the dream looks toward the debris of what has already passed. This detail suggests that the failure is not a current threat, but a settled part of your history that still occupies your inner space.
The appearance of a cruise ship shifts the focus toward a way of living that seeks social grace and material abundance. This detail suggests that the movement you are navigating is shaped by a drive for a life of leisure and outward success.
Missing a ship marks a moment where you feel the momentum of life pulling away from you. This dream shows you standing on the shore while the passage you needed to take moves out of reach.
For its more general meaning: Dream about a boat
I dreamt I was a bootlegger working with a pirate group/mafia, we head off for a big job riding in a fleet of black hawk helicopters to steal things from cargo ships. We arrived at open seas and boarded on a fleet of cargo ships each the size of Evergreen. The ships were unstaffed, no one there to guard them. We entered and started taking everything we could find. I started shoving ciggarette boxes and CDs into my bag of loot. There was a whole library of CDs and ciggarettes to steal from.
