Alice CandorA stalker in a dream points to a shadow that you cannot outrun, a movement of the psyche that suggests an internal pressure you are trying to leave behind. This presence tracks your thoughts, leaving you with no corner of your mind where you can rest. You may find that what you are running from is actually a part of your own history that refuses to stay buried.
The pursuit feels like a persistent, low hum that keeps you from landing in the present. This dream may reveal a time when your own conscience or a past mistake moves like a shadow, tracing your steps and narrowing your field of vision. There is a possibility that this feeling of being watched is actually the discomfort of being seen by your own truth. You possess the capacity to look back at the shadow without turning away. The dream is a mirror that holds the image of the stalker until you are ready to face what it follows.
An obsessive stalker in a dream intensifies this sense of being trapped by a singular, unrelenting thought. You are finding that one idea has grown too large, crowding out everything else until your mind feels inhabited by nothing but this single, driving force. The dream shows how a single concern can tighten its grip until it feels as though there is no room left to breathe.
When you find yourself killing a stalker in a dream, the movement shifts from evasion to a decisive confrontation with your own guilt. You strike out to break the link between your life and the shadow that haunts your steps. You are attempting to end the cycle of dread by striking at the source of your unease.
Alice CandorInterpreter interprets your dreams
The figure that keeps coming back in a dream has usually been waiting a long time to be looked at. A dream tends to bring forward the side of a life that daylight leaves out. What feels alien in it might be the part of you most in need of a hearing. Nothing has to be settled tonight. Which detail stayed with you after waking?
