Alice CandorA video is the way you hold a piece of your history still, allowing you to look back at what has passed. This dream suggests a movement toward making sense of the traces you leave behind, functioning as a bridge between the lived moment and the ability to testify to its existence. You may find yourself standing before a screen of your own making, trying to reconcile the person who acted with the person who now observes.
The process of seeing can be a way of stabilizing the fluid nature of your own history. If you find that the image is obscured, it might signal a period where you are struggling to trust the continuity of your own story. This dream invites you to look at the way you hold your past, as if it were a reel of light that you are learning to frame. You are essentially looking for the evidence of your own presence in the world.
The act of recording a video shifts the focus from observation to the active construction of your own testimony. By taking control of the lens, you are attempting to fix a moment in place so that it cannot slip away into the unreliability of feeling. This movement shows that you are ready to claim your own history, turning a passing experience into a permanent record that you can return to.
When you are watching a video, the dream moves into the realm of the witness, where you are no longer the one creating the narrative but the one being confronted by it. You find yourself stepping back from the heat of the moment to see what actually happened. This separation allows the scattered pieces of what you have lived to find their proper place.
Alice CandorInterpreter interprets your dreams
The figure that keeps coming back in a dream has usually been waiting a long time to be looked at. A dream tends to bring forward the side of a life that daylight leaves out. What feels alien in it might be the part of you most in need of a hearing. Nothing has to be settled tonight. Which detail stayed with you after waking?
