Alice CandorAn arcade marks the moments when you wander through shallow diversions to avoid a more substantial truth. This dream suggests your attention is caught in a cycle of fragmented experiences that move without ever arriving. You may find yourself navigating a corridor of temporary interests that serve to mask a deeper stillness you are not yet ready to face.
The structure of this dream is a labyrinth of the immediate, where a hunger for constant stimulation keeps you from settling into your own center. By pursuing these passing shadows, you risk losing the thread of what actually requires your presence. Emptiness may settle in when the noise of the pursuit fades. You possess the capacity to step out of the corridor and find the ground that remains when the distractions cease. This dream is a map of many paths that lead nowhere, held within the geometry of an arcade.
I was in an arcade bar area where I was hosting a party. There are old friends with me. I also brought along a new friend whom I never met in real life but I seem to know in dream. He is wearing regal blue and white overcoat and has white hair. He is very talkative and “out there”, high energy personality. He wanted to play Puzzle Bobble/Bubble Shooter on an arcade machine with me, I said I have this game on my computer. I then see him playing cards. After party he offered to drive me home.
