Alice CandorAn infestation of rats suggests a movement where small, hidden deceits begin to multiply within the spaces you inhabit. This dream marks a moment when the betrayals you might have overlooked or ignored are no longer contained, as they begin to breed and occupy the areas you once thought were secure.
The weight of these growing dishonesties can feel like an encroaching tide that threatens to overwhelm your sense of self. You may find that the many small evasions you have practiced are now creating a heavy sense of distress. You are experiencing the way a single lapse in integrity can spawn a multitude of complications that demand your attention.
The feeling of being surrounded by these movements points to a loss of sanctuary in your own mind. You find yourself navigating a terrain where trust is no longer a stable foundation. This dream shows how unrest becomes a constant presence when the small shadows of deceit are allowed to grow.
Seeing a rat infestation in a house indicates that these multiplying betrayals are specifically targeting the stability of your personal life and your sense of order. These deceits penetrate your private rooms and strip away the comfort you once found in your own walls.
A dream where there are rats everywhere, a swarm of rats, or a house full of rats reveals that the deceit has reached a state of total saturation. This density of treachery means that there is no longer any corner of your psychological world that remains untouched by these growing troubles.
When you see rats falling from the ceiling, the dream suggests that the threats to your standing are coming from above, where you once felt protected. Your sense of shelter breaks apart, and the things you trusted to hold you up now drop these burdens upon you.
The sight of rats running around shows how these betrayals force you into a state of undirected effort. You find yourself chasing shadows and wasting your strength on a chaos that refuses to stay still.

I had a dream I saw a big spider running fast down the hallway. I pointed it out to family and friends. Then I noticed a few more that were even bigger. The biggest one was laying on a mantle over a window. I was sitting on a couch underneath it. It was sleeping. Then all if a sudden the house was infested with rats. Big ones and little ones. My friend started a fire in the house because it was too much to deal with. The house burned down. Authorities showed up asking how the house burned down.
