Becoming a ghost is a movement toward the things you have left unsaid or undone, a way the mind signals that a part of your history remains active because it has not been fully laid to rest. This dream suggests that you are drifting through your current life while tethered to a previous version of yourself, unable to inhabit the present because you are still occupying the space of what once was.
The weight of this lingering presence might feel like a shadow that follows you, marking the places where a resolution was bypassed or a closure was denied. You may find that your energy is being pulled backward into an old pattern, leaving you feeling thin or translucent in your own skin. This state of being is a sign that you are still negotiating with a past that refuses to remain behind you.
Your capacity to inhabit the now is being held in check by these unresolved echoes. You are currently learning to recognize where your vitality is being spent on ghosts.
For its more general meaning: Dream about a ghost
I dreamed about my car breaking down. I decided on giving up on fixing it. I went to my dad and ask him to end my life. We walked around, talked and then he distracted me and shot me in my head. It didn’t hurt, I didn’t feel pain, I wasn’t upset … it’s what I wanted and had asked him to do. However, I didn’t disappear. I had turned into what you would call a ghost, floating. I did regret the dramatic action a bit as I saw my friends and family live on. I used day cream a lot to try to not age.
Dear Reader,
Your dream stands for access, speaking and passion. This dream indicates you can easily access to something or someone. You are speaking and acting out of anger. Perhaps your love life has become routine or devoid of emotion and passion.
that’s interesting … I haven’t had a (passionate) love life in years …
however, a lot of love for my friends and family.
