Alice CandorBeing president in a dream often points to the way you are attempting to govern the territory of your own impulses. This movement toward a seat of command suggests that you are looking for a way to organize the various forces that pull at your attention, seeking a single point of gravity to hold your internal world in place. The dream might be exploring the weight of a self-imposed law, where you try to legislate your desires or suppress the parts of yourself that refuse to follow a central decree.
The authority you feel in such a dream can act as a heavy cloak that restricts your ability to move with spontaneity. You may find yourself caught in the tension of maintaining an image of control that does not account for the shifting currents of your actual experience. If this dream is a struggle to maintain order, it reveals how much energy you expend on a structure that may be more fragile than it appears. You are already learning how to steer your own direction. This ability to decide for yourself is the ground you stand on.

Alice CandorInterpreter interprets your dreams
The figure that keeps coming back in a dream has usually been waiting a long time to be looked at. A dream tends to bring forward the side of a life that daylight leaves out. What feels alien in it might be the part of you most in need of a hearing. Nothing has to be settled tonight. Which detail stayed with you after waking?
