Dream about blowing out candles

Blowing out candles suggests a movement where you are actively extinguishing a source of internal light to confront a darkness you have been avoiding. This dream may indicate a tendency to silence your own intuitive guidance or to suppress the quiet prayers of the spirit in order to settle into a state of stillness. You might find that by putting out these small fires, you are attempting to end a period of searching that has become too taxing for your current strength.

The shadow that follows the extinguishing of the light is not an enemy, but the space where your true reflections can finally settle. You are navigating a transition where the old ways of seeking clarity no longer serve the person you are becoming. There is a risk that by removing the light, you might lose sight of the very path you intended to follow. Your capacity to sit within this dimness is a sign that you are ready to find a different kind of vision.

A sense of loss may attend this turning, as the sudden absence of warmth can feel like a sudden withdrawal of grace. You possess the quiet strength to wait until your eyes adjust to the dusk.

The sight of candles going out signifies a transition where the sudden loss of light marks the end of a specific period of spiritual or emotional searching. This movement towards darkness is the way your mind prepares you to face what remains when the distractions of outward guidance are removed.
