Alice CandorBurning wood in a dream signals that you are finally using up the old supplies of your spirit to feed a current necessity. You might be finding that the old ways you used to sustain your inner life are no longer providing warmth, but are instead being surrendered to a transformative heat. This process suggests that the very things you once relied upon to build your stability are now being offered up to clear a space for something more vital.
The fire that consumes these materials is not a sign of destruction, but a way of releasing the rigid structures that have become too brittle to support you. You may find that what felt like a solid foundation is actually a pile of fuel that must be spent to prevent you from becoming stagnant. There is a risk that you might cling to these spent remains out of a fear of emptiness, even as they cease to serve your growth. Your capacity to transform what is old into something essential is present in the way you allow the flames to work. You are learning to find the heat in the very things you thought were merely meant to be stored.

Alice CandorInterpreter interprets your dreams
The figure that keeps coming back in a dream has usually been waiting a long time to be looked at. A dream tends to bring forward the side of a life that daylight leaves out. What feels alien in it might be the part of you most in need of a hearing. Nothing has to be settled tonight. Which detail stayed with you after waking?
