Alice CandorBuying a broom may signal your attempt to acquire the means to resolve an internal clutter that has become unmanageable. This dream suggests a movement toward settling what is owed to yourself or others, as if you are reaching for a tool to sweep away the debris of old obligations. You might be looking for a way to clear the floor of your psychic life so that you can finally stand on solid ground.
The acquisition of such a tool points to a readiness to face the mess of the past by choosing to tidy the spaces that have been neglected. This process of clearing often reveals the contours of what you have been avoiding, as the act of sweeping requires you to move through the very dust you wish to remove. A lingering quarrel may remain as a jagged piece of debris that resists this sudden tidying. You find that the effort to settle your debts is a way of reclaiming the room you need to breathe. Your need to tidy the corners of your mind is what places the broom in your hands.

Alice CandorInterpreter interprets your dreams
The figure that keeps coming back in a dream has usually been waiting a long time to be looked at. A dream tends to bring forward the side of a life that daylight leaves out. What feels alien in it might be the part of you most in need of a hearing. Nothing has to be settled tonight. Which detail stayed with you after waking?
