Alice CandorBuying a knife is an attempt to find the edge needed to separate one thing from another. This dream may suggest that you are preparing to introduce a distinction into your life that separates what you can tolerate from what you must exclude. You are reaching for a way to part the tangled threads of a situation, seeking a tool that can provide the necessary separation.
The act of acquisition in this dream functions like the sharpening of a mental edge, where you are deciding to take up a means of defense or division. This movement points to an inner settling where you prepare to use words that slice through hesitation. You are gathering the tools to sever what no longer serves you, and this ability to divide is a strength that lives within you.
The presence of knives in a dream shifts the focus from a singular resolution to the management of multiple, overlapping disputes. You may find yourself needing to address several different tensions at once, each one demanding its own specific way of being cut away.

Alice CandorInterpreter interprets your dreams
The figure that keeps coming back in a dream has usually been waiting a long time to be looked at. A dream tends to bring forward the side of a life that daylight leaves out. What feels alien in it might be the part of you most in need of a hearing. Nothing has to be settled tonight. Which detail stayed with you after waking?
