Alice CandorBuying a new coat suggests an attempt to construct a boundary between your inner self and the world that observes you. This dream shows you trying to build a skin of reputation to guard what is soft and private inside. You are measuring your private truth against the image you present, seeking a way to meet the gaze of others without feeling vulnerable.
The act of choosing this shield marks a movement in how you handle being seen. While this movement might make you feel more prepared, it can also serve to hide the parts of your life that you are not yet ready to reveal. There is a risk that you might become more invested in the shell than in the person living within it. Your ability to choose a new way of being provides a way to step into the world with greater intention. You are learning to wear your identity as a garment that both protects and defines you.

Alice CandorInterpreter interprets your dreams
The figure that keeps coming back in a dream has usually been waiting a long time to be looked at. A dream tends to bring forward the side of a life that daylight leaves out. What feels alien in it might be the part of you most in need of a hearing. Nothing has to be settled tonight. Which detail stayed with you after waking?
