Alice CandorBuying glasses suggests a movement toward acquiring a perspective that you do not yet possess. This dream may indicate that you are trying to find a way to see your life with more accuracy, as if you are seeking the means to look at what is in front of you without error.
You might be looking for a way to keep your focus from drifting when your own motives become unclear. This process of acquisition involves a willingness to trade what is familiar for a vision that is more precise, even if that precision brings a certain sharpness to things you would rather leave soft. There is a possibility that this search for clarity reveals truths that are difficult to hold. You are already tending to the lens through which you navigate your world.
Getting new glasses indicates that this shift in vision is already underway, as the act of receiving the tool suggests that the capacity for better judgment is becoming an active part of your present experience. The dream moves from the intent of the purchase to the actual presence of the clarity you seek.

Alice CandorInterpreter interprets your dreams
The figure that keeps coming back in a dream has usually been waiting a long time to be looked at. A dream tends to bring forward the side of a life that daylight leaves out. What feels alien in it might be the part of you most in need of a hearing. Nothing has to be settled tonight. Which detail stayed with you after waking?
