Alice CandorCarrying wood in a dream suggests a movement toward gathering the necessary substance for a future warmth or a structural necessity. You are likely pulling together the scattered remnants of what you have lived to build something that can endure.
The heaviness of this labor might point to a way of living that has become brittle or performative, where you grasp at shells of meaning that lack true depth. This inner labor might involve a struggle to distinguish between what is truly vital and what is merely a surface-level imitation of substance. When you find yourself performing this labor, you are negotiating with the parts of your life that require preparation. This movement of gathering is a way of tending to the fires you intend to light, and the dream leaves you holding the weight of the wood you have chosen to collect.

Alice CandorInterpreter interprets your dreams
The figure that keeps coming back in a dream has usually been waiting a long time to be looked at. A dream tends to bring forward the side of a life that daylight leaves out. What feels alien in it might be the part of you most in need of a hearing. Nothing has to be settled tonight. Which detail stayed with you after waking?
