Alice CandorCatching a lizard suggests a movement toward confronting the small, stinging betrayals that you might otherwise overlook in your own psyche. This dream may point to an attempt to seize a fragment of malice that has been operating in the shadows of your intentions. You are trying to grasp a truth that is slippery and difficult to hold, as if the very act of capturing it forces you to acknowledge a part of your own character that feels untrustworthy.
The process of catching a lizard involves a tightening of your focus on the subtle ways you might deceive yourself or those around you. You are deciding to look directly at the small cruelties you have previously ignored. By attempting to secure this symbol, you are bringing a hidden hostility into the light of your own awareness. You possess the capacity to pin down these small dishonesties before they can take root. The lizard is caught in the net of your growing scrutiny.
Chasing a lizard indicates that the avoidance of a certain truth is becoming an active, exhausting pursuit in your life. This dream shifts the meaning from a successful confrontation to a state of constant evasion, where you are running after a small malice that refuses to be caught. You find yourself in a cycle of pursuit that keeps the shadow just out of reach.

Alice CandorInterpreter interprets your dreams
The figure that keeps coming back in a dream has usually been waiting a long time to be looked at. A dream tends to bring forward the side of a life that daylight leaves out. What feels alien in it might be the part of you most in need of a hearing. Nothing has to be settled tonight. Which detail stayed with you after waking?
