Alice CandorCatching a murderer in a dream suggests a sudden confrontation with an internal hostility that has long been allowed to operate in the shadows of your conscience. This movement reveals a part of your life that has been cruel or deeply unjust, which can no longer slip past your sight. You are witnessing the closing of a circle, where the impulse to destroy or to deceive oneself is finally being brought into the light of your awareness.
The shadow of this encounter lies in the recognition of a violence that has already occurred within your own character or your history. You are facing the reality of a deep-seated injustice that you may have been complicit in through silence or through the avoidance of difficult truths. When you seize this figure, you take back the ground that was surrendered to hatred, discovering that the capture is what finally makes your identity whole again.
Alice CandorInterpreter interprets your dreams
The figure that keeps coming back in a dream has usually been waiting a long time to be looked at. A dream tends to bring forward the side of a life that daylight leaves out. What feels alien in it might be the part of you most in need of a hearing. Nothing has to be settled tonight. Which detail stayed with you after waking?
