Alice CandorCatching an alligator involves a movement toward a danger that you have not yet fully identified, a struggle to grasp a force that remains largely beneath the surface of your awareness. This dream shows you reaching for a hostility that has been hiding in the dark corners of your own mind. The act of catching is an effort to bring a predatory element into the light, to pin down a threat that operates through concealment.
The shadow of this movement is the risk that by trying to trap this force, you may become entangled in the very malice you seek to contain. You may find that the more you reach for this hidden adversary, the more you risk being bitten by a reality you are not yet prepared to face. Your current path is one of confrontation with the things you have sensed but not yet named. You are learning to handle the jagged edges of a truth that refuses to stay submerged.

Alice CandorInterpreter interprets your dreams
The figure that keeps coming back in a dream has usually been waiting a long time to be looked at. A dream tends to bring forward the side of a life that daylight leaves out. What feels alien in it might be the part of you most in need of a hearing. Nothing has to be settled tonight. Which detail stayed with you after waking?
