Alice CandorCoke in a dream shows how you might be settling for the shallow and the brief to avoid the gravity of what is real. This movement suggests a tendency to lean into the light and the temporary to avoid the weight of a more substantial engagement with what is actually present.
The lightness of this dream might be a way for you to skim the surface of your own life, seeking a momentary distraction that leaves no lasting trace. You may find that you are settling for a social or emotional buoyancy that lacks the substance required to sustain you when the surface tension breaks. This drift toward the transient can leave you feeling unanchored.
The way you handle these fleeting moments is a way of keeping the deeper, more difficult parts of yourself at a distance. You find a certain ease in the shallow, even as it offers nothing to hold onto.
When you are drinking coke in a dream, the sense of ease you feel is revealed as a fragile and momentary reprieve. You are reaching for a quick, sweet distraction that vanishes the moment you try to hold it.

Alice CandorInterpreter interprets your dreams
The figure that keeps coming back in a dream has usually been waiting a long time to be looked at. A dream tends to bring forward the side of a life that daylight leaves out. What feels alien in it might be the part of you most in need of a hearing. Nothing has to be settled tonight. Which detail stayed with you after waking?
