Alice CandorCosmetics suggest a layer of presentation that you might be using to manage how the world perceives your inner reality. This dream shows you tending to an outer face to cover what you feel is not yet ready for the gaze of others. You are navigating the tension between who you are and the image you feel compelled to maintain.
The act of preparing this surface may indicate a desire to control the way your vulnerabilities are viewed by others. You are building a persona to act as a barrier, which can pull you away from the truth of your own experience. This dream shows that your current focus on the external can act as a veil that obscures your true state. You possess the capacity to recognize when the mask has become a weight rather than a tool. This movement toward the surface is a way of holding your true self in safety behind a carefully composed image.
The dream of buying cosmetics indicates an active attempt to acquire new ways of being seen. You are looking for new tools to build a version of yourself that feels more acceptable or more capable, which adds an element of seeking to the general theme of how you present your life. This search for new appearances is your way of trying to find a readiness you do not yet feel.

Alice CandorInterpreter interprets your dreams
The figure that keeps coming back in a dream has usually been waiting a long time to be looked at. A dream tends to bring forward the side of a life that daylight leaves out. What feels alien in it might be the part of you most in need of a hearing. Nothing has to be settled tonight. Which detail stayed with you after waking?
