Dream about cutting eyelashes

Cutting eyelashes suggests you are thinning the very defenses that keep your inner treasures safe. This dream suggests a process where the defensive layers you have built to protect your convictions or your stability are being deliberately thinned. You may find yourself questioning the necessity of the shields that keep the world at a distance, as if the cost of staying guarded has become too high to bear.

The act of removing these protections can feel like a slow unravelling of the perimeter you have worked to maintain. There is a risk that by diminishing these boundaries, you leave your core values exposed to influences that you are not yet ready to integrate. However, this vulnerability is also where your capacity for new experience begins to breathe. Your strength is currently being redefined by what you are willing to let touch you, moving away from the safety of a closed eye toward a more direct engagement with the light.

Cutting eyelashes off changes the nature of the dream by turning a potential thinning of boundaries into a total removal of the shield. This action shows that you are stripping away the tools you use to keep your inner life safe, leaving nothing to buffer the impact of the world. You are standing in a space where the old ways of keeping yourself secure no longer function, leaving you to face the world without the customary armor.
