Alice CandorDigging a foundation in a dream is how you reach for the truths that lie beneath the surface of your current way of living. This movement toward the earth suggests that you are looking for the source of your own stability, trying to uncover the roots that allow you to stand upright against the winds of change. You are working to find the ground that can hold the weight of what you are building, even if that ground is currently obscured by the dust of daily life.
The effort you expend in this dream points toward an inquiry into your own lineage and the structural integrity of your character. You are searching for the silent strength that has been passed down to you, or perhaps you are trying to establish a new sense of permanence where there was once only shifting sand. There is a possibility that you are uncovering a structural flaw that has long remained unnoticed, an instability that threatens the integrity of your inner world. Your persistence in this labor shows that you are ready to confront the underside of your existence to ensure that what you rise upon is truly secure.

Alice CandorInterpreter interprets your dreams
The figure that keeps coming back in a dream has usually been waiting a long time to be looked at. A dream tends to bring forward the side of a life that daylight leaves out. What feels alien in it might be the part of you most in need of a hearing. Nothing has to be settled tonight. Which detail stayed with you after waking?
