Alice CandorDigging a pit is an act of crafting a site for your own sudden fall, as you find yourself actively creating the very ground that might one day give way. This dream marks a time when you are carving out a space for a crisis by focusing too intently on what lies beneath the surface. The act of unearthing suggests that you are preparing a site for a fall, perhaps by obsessing over a lack or a void that you feel compelled to deepen.
The shadow of this movement lies in the possibility of a trap that you have fashioned with your own hands. Your labor is deepening an instability that you are not yet ready to inhabit. This labor is a way of making a hole in the life you have built, and the dream shows how you are tending to the edge of a precipice.

Alice CandorInterpreter interprets your dreams
The figure that keeps coming back in a dream has usually been waiting a long time to be looked at. A dream tends to bring forward the side of a life that daylight leaves out. What feels alien in it might be the part of you most in need of a hearing. Nothing has to be settled tonight. Which detail stayed with you after waking?
