Alice CandorDigging a well is how you reach the hidden stores of your own life that remain beneath the surface of your awareness. This movement in a dream suggests that you are currently engaged in the labor of uncovering resources that have been stored away from your conscious view. You are searching for the depth that sustains you, even if the work feels repetitive or solitary.
The work of reaching these depths might show you a lack of what you need if the ground offers nothing back. This dream can point to a time when you feel the pull of a hollow space, as if the search for life is met only by parched earth. Yet, the act of digging is itself an indication that you possess the capacity to find what is required. The labor of digging a well shows that you are already tending to the source of your own endurance.

Alice CandorInterpreter interprets your dreams
The figure that keeps coming back in a dream has usually been waiting a long time to be looked at. A dream tends to bring forward the side of a life that daylight leaves out. What feels alien in it might be the part of you most in need of a hearing. Nothing has to be settled tonight. Which detail stayed with you after waking?
