Alice CandorDismembered body parts in a dream may signal a period where your internal cohesion is fraying, as if the various forces that usually compose your identity have begun to pull away from one another. The parts of you that once moved as a single unit now act alone, leaving you to stand amidst a wreckage of your own making.
The experience of seeing such a division suggests that the threads connecting what you intend to do with what you actually do have snapped.
An estrangement from your own core follows this loss of wholeness, as though the very pillars of your existence have ceased to support each other. You find that the strength you once relied upon is now distributed in pieces that no longer recognize their common origin. The dream shows you how the architecture of your inner life is currently scattered.
Chopped up body parts in a dream turn a slow drifting into a series of sharp, violent ruptures. This state suggests that the division of your inner life is being driven by sudden shocks rather than a gradual fading of connections. The dream presents these pieces as having been forcibly parted, mirroring a psychic state where your focus is being cut into irreconcilable segments.

Alice CandorInterpreter interprets your dreams
The figure that keeps coming back in a dream has usually been waiting a long time to be looked at. A dream tends to bring forward the side of a life that daylight leaves out. What feels alien in it might be the part of you most in need of a hearing. Nothing has to be settled tonight. Which detail stayed with you after waking?
