Alice CandorDrawing a picture in a dream may suggest an attempt to fix a shifting reputation or a fading memory into a shape you can finally recognize. You are trying to prevent the truth of your life from slipping away into a smudge of what you did and what others say.
The act of rendering what is formed within becomes a way for you to make your internal world visible to yourself. This process allows you to confront the way you present your own story to the world, even as the clarity of that story remains subject to the way you choose to frame it. This movement might reveal the ways in which you obscure certain truths to maintain a specific image. You are currently finding the courage to look at the contours of your own making.
When someone else is painting a picture in your dream, the movement of identity shifts from your own hand to the gaze of an observer. This suggests that the way you are remembered or perceived is being shaped by forces outside your direct control, which can make the stability of your reputation feel less certain.
The act of painting a picture in a dream can be a sign of how you are processing your own history. If the effort is direct, it shows you are actively trying to give form to the things you have known or the person you have become.

Alice CandorInterpreter interprets your dreams
The figure that keeps coming back in a dream has usually been waiting a long time to be looked at. A dream tends to bring forward the side of a life that daylight leaves out. What feels alien in it might be the part of you most in need of a hearing. Nothing has to be settled tonight. Which detail stayed with you after waking?
Has my dream been interpreted?
