Alice CandorDrowning in a river suggests a moment where the current of your own life has become a force that you no longer direct. This dream points to a period where the momentum of your circumstances or the weight of your own history moves with a velocity that bypasses your ability to steer. You may find yourself caught in a movement that feels larger than your capacity to influence it, as if the very path you have carved is now carrying you toward an end you did not choose.
The surge of this movement hides the ground you usually rely on to stay upright. You might feel that the structures of your character are being tested by a surge that refuses to be reasoned with or calmed. This experience of being submerged in the uncontrollable is a heavy state, where the boundary between your own will and the world’s direction begins to dissolve. Yet, this movement also reveals the strength of what remains when the surface is lost. The depth of this dream is a way for you to recognize the sheer scale of the life you are navigating.
Being swept away in a river shows that the resistance you once offered has failed, leaving you to be moved by a force that no longer waits for your consent.

Alice CandorInterpreter interprets your dreams
The figure that keeps coming back in a dream has usually been waiting a long time to be looked at. A dream tends to bring forward the side of a life that daylight leaves out. What feels alien in it might be the part of you most in need of a hearing. Nothing has to be settled tonight. Which detail stayed with you after waking?
