Dream about dust

Dust is the layering of everything you have stopped tending to, a slow buildup of what has been left behind. This dream suggests that the passage of time is marking the edges of your inner life, coating the parts of your existence that have slipped from your active attention.

The dream moves with a heavy stillness, showing how the things you do not face are gathering in the dark spaces of your mind. You may find that the stillness you sought has instead allowed a certain blurring of your boundaries, as if the distinction between what is lived and what is merely endured is being obscured by this fine, grey veil.

The accumulation of these particles may eventually make the terrain of your life difficult to navigate. You possess the capacity to see where the stillness has turned into stagnation. The dream reveals how the drift of years can soften the sharp edges of your reality, much like the way dust settles over everything it touches.

When you are cleaning dust, you are actively engaging with the debt you owe to your own history. This action transforms the dream from a report of decay into a movement of restoration, where you are reclaiming the clarity that the passing years have obscured.

If the dream shows dust on the floor, the foundation of your stability is being compromised by a lack of care. The floor is the ground upon which you stand, and its coating suggests that the very basis of your current affairs is becoming obscured by what you have failed to address.

The house itself is losing its order because the neglect has moved from the edges into the very rooms where you reside.
