Alice CandorEating a live animal suggests a hunger for a vitality that you are currently consuming in its most raw and unmediated form. This dream movement points to a drive to integrate something into your life that is still pulsing with its own independent force, as if you are trying to swallow the very essence of a survival instinct that has not yet been processed by thought. You reach for a way to sustain your own life by pulling the very breath from another.
The act of consuming life in this way reveals a tension between your need for nourishment and the unsettling reality of the life you must take to obtain it. Your search for company or a way to live demands that you face a spirit that still fights to remain itself. This internal process can feel like an intrusion upon the very thing you seek to hold. Your strength lies in your capacity to recognize this fierce appetite for existence. The dream leaves you standing before the pulse of a life that refuses to be still.

Alice CandorInterpreter interprets your dreams
The figure that keeps coming back in a dream has usually been waiting a long time to be looked at. A dream tends to bring forward the side of a life that daylight leaves out. What feels alien in it might be the part of you most in need of a hearing. Nothing has to be settled tonight. Which detail stayed with you after waking?
