Alice CandorEating pens in a dream suggests a movement toward internalizing the very tools you use to define your boundaries and commit to your path. You are attempting to digest the structures of order and the weight of your own word, turning what was once an external instrument of law into the very substance of your being. This process of assimilation can feel like a struggle to make the rigid aspects of your life part of your natural instinct.
The hunger for this integration may reveal a way in which you are currently consuming your own capacity to make lasting agreements. While you are absorbing the power to command your circumstances, you risk losing the clarity that comes from keeping your intentions distinct from your essence. This dream may be a way of showing how you might be swallowing the very means by which you seek to govern your world, leaving the ink of your life to settle within you. Your capacity to honor what you have built is found in the way you integrate these hard truths into your spirit.

Alice CandorInterpreter interprets your dreams
The figure that keeps coming back in a dream has usually been waiting a long time to be looked at. A dream tends to bring forward the side of a life that daylight leaves out. What feels alien in it might be the part of you most in need of a hearing. Nothing has to be settled tonight. Which detail stayed with you after waking?
