Alice CandorElectricity moves through your inner life like a sudden surge of power that demands your attention. This dream suggests a current of energy that is both a source of power and a force that can disturb the stillness of your current way of being. You may find that this movement is attempting to bridge a gap between what you are doing and what you are truly feeling.
The current of this dream might arrive as a sudden disruption that forces you to confront a reality you have been overlooking. You are being asked to recognize where this force flows and where it is being blocked by your own hesitation. The spark of this dream is a way for your mind to illuminate the connections that sustain your daily existence. If the energy is felt as a sharp or sudden intrusion, it may point to a moment where your equilibrium is challenged by a truth that refuses to be ignored. A sudden awareness of these connections can be a way for you to see the strength you already possess.
Being shocked by electricity or an electric shock strikes you with a sharp jolt that demands an immediate awakening. This jolt pulls you from a state of drifting into a sharp, sudden awareness. The shock is the mechanism by which the dream demands you acknowledge a sudden change in your psychic climate.
The sight of electrical wires shows the connections of communication and work that bind your various responsibilities together. These connections are the conduits through which your purpose flows, and seeing them suggests a focus on how your different roles are linked. This dream reveals the underlying structure of your social and professional world.
When you experience electricity going out, the dream indicates a temporary suspension of the vital forces that drive your outward progress. This loss of power halts the momentum of your current pursuits. The absence of this force leaves you to face the stillness that arrives when the engine of your activity stops.
I dreamed and found myself sitting under a light pole which the bulb on the pole was switched on.
