Alice CandorFeeding a monkey suggests a movement where you might be nourishing a part of yourself that thrives on instability. This dream points to a tendency to provide sustenance to an impulse that does not seek your well-being, but rather seeks to keep you occupied with its own erratic demands. You may find yourself pouring energy into a cycle of distraction that offers little more than a fleeting, restless engagement.
The space you occupy is being filled by these small, frantic needs that pull you in a dozen directions at once. When you are feeding monkeys, the scale of this diversion increases, suggesting that these fragmented interests are beginning to crowd out more stable parts of your life. This pattern of attention can leave you feeling scattered, as you attempt to satisfy many small, biting whims that offer no lasting satisfaction. You are currently managing a collection of restless shadows that demand your constant, costly attention.
The presence of multiple monkeys in the dream indicates that the tendency to indulge in hollow distractions has become a widespread habit. This multiplicity shifts the focus from a single impulse to a pervasive state of being divided, where you are constantly tending to various small disruptions.

Alice CandorInterpreter interprets your dreams
The figure that keeps coming back in a dream has usually been waiting a long time to be looked at. A dream tends to bring forward the side of a life that daylight leaves out. What feels alien in it might be the part of you most in need of a hearing. Nothing has to be settled tonight. Which detail stayed with you after waking?
