Alice CandorFootprints in a dream may signal a movement toward a path that has already been laid by others, suggesting that you are tracing a course that is no longer entirely your own. You are perhaps trying to find where a certain truth has gone or attempting to match the pace of a life that is already in motion. This following of an established trail may mean you are looking for where someone has gone or trying to find the rhythm of an idea that is already moving ahead of you.
The clarity of these marks determines how much of a map you truly possess. If the dream shows you following clear tracks, it suggests that the guidance you seek is visible and that the way forward is currently being revealed to you. You find your way by looking at what is left behind, for the route is already there for you to find. You find that the path is a steadying presence, as you walk through the footprints.
Bloody footprints in a dream change the nature of the pursuit, turning a search for guidance into a confrontation with a cost that has already been paid. The presence of this red stain suggests that the path you are tracing is tied to a wound or a sacrifice that you are not yet ready to acknowledge. This detail shifts the dream from a simple following of an example into a heavy encounter with the pain that accompanies certain directions.
Alice CandorInterpreter interprets your dreams
The figure that keeps coming back in a dream has usually been waiting a long time to be looked at. A dream tends to bring forward the side of a life that daylight leaves out. What feels alien in it might be the part of you most in need of a hearing. Nothing has to be settled tonight. Which detail stayed with you after waking?
