Alice CandorGetting dressed in a dream suggests a movement toward the way you present your inner self to the world, acting as a way to gather the necessary strength for the roles you inhabit. This process of assembly functions like the forging of armor, where you decide which parts of your character to show and which to keep shielded as you prepare for the friction of public life.
The way you approach this preparation may reveal a hesitation to step into the light of scrutiny. If the process feels like a slow or difficult labor, it points to a friction between your private essence and the persona you feel compelled to wear. You might find that the weight of this social shield is what makes the act of becoming visible feel like an obstacle rather than a transition. You are learning to navigate the boundary between who you are and what you must project.
A dream of struggling or taking forever to get dressed indicates that the transition from your private life to your public role is currently met with internal resistance. This delay suggests that the persona you are trying to construct does not yet fit the reality of your needs, making the act of self-presentation feel like a heavy and exhausting task.

Alice CandorInterpreter interprets your dreams
The figure that keeps coming back in a dream has usually been waiting a long time to be looked at. A dream tends to bring forward the side of a life that daylight leaves out. What feels alien in it might be the part of you most in need of a hearing. Nothing has to be settled tonight. Which detail stayed with you after waking?
