Alice CandorThe presence of having a parrot in a dream suggests a movement toward the surface of your life where the noise of the world begins to crowd out the silence of your own thoughts. This dream points to a tendency to engage with the superficial echoes of others, a way of filling the inner space with a constant, repetitive stream of social static that prevents any real depth from settling.
This chatter creates a thin screen that keeps you from feeling the heaviness of what you have not yet spoken. When you let this outside rhythm drive your mind, you give up your own thinking for the easy rhythm of a common song. The dream holds a warning that such a reliance on the spoken word as a distraction can leave you drifting in a sea of meaningless sound. You possess the ability to distinguish the true voice from the mere mimicry of the crowd.
Buying a parrot in a dream indicates that you are actively seeking out or inviting this distraction into your private sphere. You are choosing to welcome a hollow noise to shield yourself from the stillness of your own company.

Alice CandorInterpreter interprets your dreams
The figure that keeps coming back in a dream has usually been waiting a long time to be looked at. A dream tends to bring forward the side of a life that daylight leaves out. What feels alien in it might be the part of you most in need of a hearing. Nothing has to be settled tonight. Which detail stayed with you after waking?
