Alice CandorWearing a jacket in a dream suggests how you present a layer of protection between your inner self and the world. This act of armoring serves to manage the exposure you feel when you move through your social or professional life. You are looking for a way to mark where you end and the world begins, using this cloth to dampen the impact of how others look at you.
The way this layer fits you reveals the current state of your social skin. You are testing the distance between your private truth and your public face, finding that this shell either lets you breathe or binds you too tightly. This dream shows you trying to build a skin that holds up against the wind of your daily life. An old or damaged layer might indicate a sense that your standing has been compromised. Your capacity to choose a shield that supports your true movement is already present in your awareness. This dream is the architecture of your chosen shelter.
Wearing a new jacket in a dream means you are stepping into a different way of being seen. This indicates that you are currently adopting a different way of being seen, perhaps integrating a new role or a renewed sense of dignity into your public life.

Alice CandorInterpreter interprets your dreams
The figure that keeps coming back in a dream has usually been waiting a long time to be looked at. A dream tends to bring forward the side of a life that daylight leaves out. What feels alien in it might be the part of you most in need of a hearing. Nothing has to be settled tonight. Which detail stayed with you after waking?
