Alice CandorThe weight of math in your dream points to the way you are currently trying to balance the accounts of your own history. This movement suggests that you are attempting to find a precise tally for what has been given and what has been taken, as if a life could be made transparent through a series of calculations. You are looking for a way to reconcile the debts of your past, yet this process often keeps the actual experience of living hidden behind a wall of abstractions.
The confusion of these numbers creates a knot that pulls you away from the truth of what you feel. This dream might be a sign that you are caught in the complexity of unresolved obligations that refuse to be simplified. There is a danger that you might lose yourself in the pursuit of a perfect ledger, treating your own growth as a mere matter of subtraction and addition. You find a certain stillness when you are solving math problems, as the complicated parts of your life finally settle into place.
Doing math in your dream shifts the focus toward the active labor of trying to settle your affairs. You find yourself caught in the repetitive struggle of trying to tally what is owed, an effort that keeps you from moving past what has already happened.
The clarity you feel in solving math problems lets the mind finally hold still. Everything that was tangled falls into its proper order, and you find that the struggle is over.
Alice CandorInterpreter interprets your dreams
The figure that keeps coming back in a dream has usually been waiting a long time to be looked at. A dream tends to bring forward the side of a life that daylight leaves out. What feels alien in it might be the part of you most in need of a hearing. Nothing has to be settled tonight. Which detail stayed with you after waking?
