Alice CandorPeeling paint in a dream suggests a moment where an old surface is finally losing its grip on what lies beneath. You may find that the ways you have previously presented yourself to the world are beginning to crack and separate, revealing the underlying structure of your inner life. This process of coming undone is not a sign of decay, but a movement of shedding a layer that no longer serves the truth of who you are.
The disintegration of this coating might feel like a loss of stability, as the familiar textures of your persona start to flake away. This reveals a space where something new can eventually take root, though the sight of the raw material can be unsettling. You are witnessing the slow departure of a mask that has become too brittle to hold.
The emergence of what was hidden offers a chance to build upon a more honest foundation. You are seeing the truth of your own shape.
